Worth knowing
Before you pay any supplier an advance
Worth doing whether or not you ever use Farahmi. Screenshot it.
- Get the unit's full address and the owner's real name. If they won't say where they work, don't pay.
- Ask for a live video call of the unit, not photos.
- Pay for a sample first, and keep it to compare with the bulk order.
- Get the rate, minimum order, delivery time and defect policy in writing.
- Pay advances only into an account in the owner's or business's name, never a “cousin's” or “manager's” JazzCash. And never 100% upfront.
What to ask of every new brand
Fair to ask, and serious brands won't mind.
- Written order details: design, quantity, sizes, colours and delivery date.
- Payment for the sample.
- Your usual advance before bulk production.
- A call with the person who will actually pay.
Common questions
Is Farahmi genuine, or a fraud?
Fair question. We only contact you from our official WhatsApp number and @farahmi.pk on Instagram, and we never ask for payment on WhatsApp. If anyone using Farahmi's name asks you for money, it isn't us.
Is it free?
Yes. Joining the list is free for brands and suppliers, and doesn't commit you to anything.
What happens to my number?
We use it only to talk to you about Farahmi. It is never sold or shown publicly.
My order is small. Is that okay?
Yes. Small first orders are welcome. Just tell us roughly how many pieces you need when you join.
Do I pay suppliers through Farahmi?
No. You pay the supplier directly, on terms you agree with them.
Do brands pay me directly?
Yes. Brands pay you directly, on terms you agree with them.
Do I need English, an app or a computer?
No. WhatsApp is enough. Urdu is fine, and voice notes are welcome.
Do I need to be registered (NTN) to join?
No. Brands and suppliers can join without an NTN or company registration.
When do you launch?
